For this four-day itinerary, I recommend arriving in the city in the morning to make the most of your short stay. This ensures you can maximize your time and experience everything the city has to offer.

–To get to Las Vegas, there are several transportation options available. If you are flying, the nearest airport is Harry Reid International Airport. Upon arrival, you can easily find transportation to your destination via ride share or city bus.

–If you prefer traveling by bus, the Greyhound stop you should get off at is the Las Vegas Strip Transit Terminal. This terminal is conveniently located and provides easy access to various parts of the city.

–For those who prefer driving, you can use Rentalcars.com to find affordable cars for your road trip. It’s always a good idea to plan ahead and make reservations in advance.

Money Saving Tip- Take the RTC public bus from the airport to the strip instead of a cab/rideshare. It’s only a short 15-minute trip to get to the south of the strip.

Afternoon- Mob Museum or Area15

Evening- Fremont Street

Stop #2 for the day is exploring Fremont Street in Las Vegas. Located in the Old Las Vegas area now known as downtown is the Fremont Street Experience. Here, you’ll find a collection of exciting activities and attractions to do.

You can feel the adrenaline as you zip-line 90 ft above the ground, right over the crowd of people below. Walk along this pedestrian-only street, surrounded by the world’s largest video screen, and be amazed by captivating visual displays.

Don’t forget to check out the Golden Nugget Hotel! They proudly display the world’s largest golden nugget. For some good luck, give the belly of the Happy Buddha a rub. While exploring Fremont Street, you’ll find plenty of shops, restaurants, and casinos. I recommend spending around one to two hours here before heading to dinner.

Dinner-

Check out these awesome and wallet-friendly dining spots in and around Fremont Street! You’ll find delicious dinner options that won’t break the bank, with an average cost of around $20-$25 per person.

Lanai Express: Known for its diverse menu, you can find everything from Chinese food to hot dogs here.
Flippin’ Good Burgers: As the name suggests, they serve great burgers.
Magnolia’s Veranda at Four Queens: If you’re looking for a sit-down restaurant with a broad menu, try Magnolia’s Veranda.

Day Two- Strip Hop + A Show

Breakfast-

For breakfast, you have the option of dining at your hotel if they provide it, or at any of the following recommended locations. These establishments are located inside the Venetian Hotel, which will be our first stop of the day. The average cost per person is around $15-$20.

Grand Lux Cafe: This café is known for its diverse menu and comfortable setting. It’s a great place to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
Yardbird Table & Bar: This restaurant offers a range of breakfast options, including classic dishes and more inventive fare.

Morning- Hotel Hop

Hotel hopping in Las Vegas is a must-do experience for first-timers that lets you enjoy the best of what the city has to offer. That’s why for day 2 of the 4 days in the Las Vegas itinerary we will be doing a DIY Hotel Hop.

You can walk between each hotel, although they are a bit far apart, which is why this is the only thing planned for the day, besides a show tonight. Alternatively, you can also take the bus or monorail, but we will be starting at the north and making our way down south.

The Venetian Hotel: You’ll start the day here where you can soak up the Italian-inspired vibe and even take a gondola ride ($40) through canals inside and outside the hotel. The beautifully decorated interior and exterior, resembling the streets of Venice, provide perfect spots to chill and relax.

The High Roller: Next up on our hotel-hopping journey is a Ferris Wheel standing at a whopping 550 feet, it’s the tallest operational Ferris wheel ($27) in the world. Located on a lively pedestrian street filled with shops and people, this area has vibes that create an energetic and festive atmosphere.

Paris Las Vegas & The Bellagio: Next up, we’ve got the area with the iconic Eiffel Tower of Paris and the mesmerizing Bellagio water fountain. These landmarks are seriously impressive, especially at night when they put on dazzling light shows. At the Bellagio Hotel, you’ll also find a super cool botanical garden that changes its display every month. And if you want an amazing view of the strip, you gotta go up the Eiffel Tower ($25) at the Paris Hotel.

New York-New York: And last, let’s talk about my absolute favorite hotel, New York-New York. It’s like stepping into a real-life version of crazy New York City. You’ll be immersed in the cafes, shops, restaurants, and casinos that line the streets you’re strolling through. Oh, and brace yourself for an exhilarating ride on the roller coaster ($25) when you step outside. And don’t forget to swing by Hershey’s Chocolate World – it’s a must if you have a sweet tooth!

Our itinerary includes visiting iconic landmarks such as the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign, the Seven Magic Mountains, and the Hoover Dam. I believe opting for a tour is the best choice for this adventure, with a cost of around $70. However, if you prefer, you can also rent a car and arrange your own day trip.

-Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas: First up on our list of must-see attractions is stopping by the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign. This sign is not only a symbol of the city but has also made appearances in countless movies and TV shows set in Vegas. It’s the perfect spot to capture some truly awesome photos and immerse yourself in the Vegas experience. You only need to spend around 10-20 minutes here.

-Seven Magic Mountains: Next, we’ll be venturing out to the desert landscape to witness the Seven Magic Mountains art installation.
